Homeowners 65 and over or disabled who apply for and receive an exemption will not have an increase over their frozen dollar amount.

Since 2019, Texas law has required all school district bond propositions to include *THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.*  Due to this requirement, all voters will see that statement on the official ballot, even those whose property taxes are frozen and will not exceed the tax ceiling.
